Gerry is a founding partner of JAE Real Estate and is a passionate multi skilled chartered surveyor with over 20 years’ experience specialising in Asset Management across the European, UK and ME real estate markets, predominantly focussing on Retail, Leisure, F&B, Hospitality and Travel with the emphasis on value creation, positive tangible change, customer experience, sustainability and client care. Significant experience over the past 6 years in the management of distressed, problematic, and capital-constrained situations.

An Expert with a proven track record in value enhancement and the creation and delivery of in-depth business plans, including CAPEX, property and project management, development, refurbishment, service charges, leasing, sales and turnover, financial reporting, full P&L management, control and accountability, marketing and team/external supplier management.

His professional experience has been gained through employment with major surveying and advisory consultancies (including Resolute Asset Management, MJ Group International, King Sturge- now JLL) and SHW, Landlords (including Westfield – now URW, Network Rail & Lazari Investments), and Occupiers (including Arcadia Group).

Gerry holds a BA (Hons) degree in Real Estate from Solent University, is a chartered surveyor (MRICS) and is a RICS APC Counsellor and Assessor. In addition, he was the lead witness in the landmark case of Sheriff Morrison QC, Select Service Partners Limited against Network Rail Infrastructure Limited in April 2005.
